It's the little things...

Hip Hip Hooray...Morgan gets an "A"!!!

For the past year and a half, Morgan has struggled....and struggled with Math. We have had her tutored, given extra work, we have sat with her many late nights trying to explain concepts, and prayed together for help! Well....today I got a phone call from her teacher letting me know how proud she was because she had been able to tell that Morgan had really been working hard on her math facts (multiplication) and did really well on her multiplication drills. I was so excited at this information and then to top it off, she said that Morgan aced her Math test today!! Praise the Lord!!!!!!! We waited until dinner to tell her as a family and we were all clapping for her and singing her praises!! It was so neat to see the look on her face of accomplishment as for so long she has just been defeated with this.

...even when i am your father...

The other day I grabbed T.J. as he was walking by me and pulled him in for a great big hug. He is still little enough to pick up, snuggle and steal some of those precious moments that get far and few between as they get older. As I was hugging him, I asked him if he would still give me hugs and kisses even when he is older and his reply was priceless...he said "yep, even when I am your father"...I just love his little thought process of automatically thinking that when he gets older he will be my dad! Can they just stay naive for a while longer???

You better watch out....Santa Claus is coming to town!

This picture of Morgan, myself and Courtney (sister) was taken at our company's Christmas party. We had over 150 people attend! Morgan's show choir performed their "Christmas" music, we had an amazing magician WOW us with his card tricks and illusions, children told Santa how good they have been and their wishes for Christmas and lots of sweet treats were eaten! It is hard to believe this was our 9th Client Appreciation party!

Mickey's Not So Scary Halloween

We were fortunate to have tickets given to us to go to Disney for the not-so-scary Halloween party. The kids were extremely excited plus they got to dress up early! Morgan wanted to be Hannah Montana....how did we do??

T.J. wanted to be a cowboy...Todd kept calling him Billy Ray Cyrus since that is Hannah's dad (for all you out their who don't have 9 yr old girls in love with Hannah Montana!!)

We had a great family time together riding rides with barely any lines (Praise the Lord!), eating popcorn and looking at all the fabulous costumes people had on. The best "family" costume was a family of four who dressed up as the Incredibles...really cool! The party started at 7:00 and went until 12:00. Because it was a school night we started leaving around 11:15 and did not get home until 1:00....check out the ride home....

Girls night out

Jenni, Deanna & I got to have a girls night out last week :o) We went to the Millenia Mall and shopped til we dropped! We were buzzing in every store we could...you know we only had three hours to see the whole mall! We even postponed dinner so we could have more time shopping. Deanna had to go to Estee Lauder to get her free gift...I mean makeup! The girl there was super sweet and redid all our lips...she "plumped" them up!! Then off we went to Brio and just stuffed ourselves with a fabulous dinner that we didn't have to cook!! Whoo-hoo! We had a great time catching up and getting away for a short time.

Lunch with great friends

What a great day we had with special friends. We had Matt & Courtney Baker, Rhyann & Evynn and Alex & Adrienne Morales, Aaron & Elena over for lunch after church today. Matt, Adrienne and I all grew up together and our parents are best friends. It was so cool to have the next generation of our families together!
