So, here is a picture of the "old" fabric that was on my kitchen chairs...can you see the greasy fingerprints? I swear, my kids thought they were sitting on a napkin at the dinner table with how many times they wiped their dirty little fingers on it!!
O.K. enough whining on that subject! My sweet friend Tara is helping me make some drapes...the tricky thing in my house is it is very open, so colors really need to play on each other and flow well. I finally found a beautiful brown, green, blue, and black striped fabric for the drapes but notice below...hot pink and green polka dots (although very cute!!) would not go!
Now take a look at the new and improved fabric below! I ABSOLUTELY love it...it puts a smile on my face when I see it:o) The colors are all there but in a WHIMSICAL paisley pattern. I know it is sort of summery, but HEY we live in Florida and it is basically summer all the time anyway right?! When we get the drapes done and all hung up "Nester" style, I will certainly post pictures for all to see~
And...a new rule in our house...Don't wipe your greasy fingers on my new cute chair covers!!

I stinkin' love them! I am hoping to start on your drapes soon. Sorry it has taken me a few days to dive in!
I love it! I should hire you to come decorate our house.
Cute fabric. I have the exact opposite problem....my house is a bunch of boxes, called rooms, pushed together to make a house. I guess they were more into function back in the 1870's, although they didn't even put a kitchen in back then.
Okay...you must blog more often. You have got me addicted to blogging and I need more, lol. Seriously, can't wait to see what you post next!
They're positively great! Did you think about starting your very own indoor decoration business?
Love it...you are getting suggestions to start your own business! I think you should...and hire me as your humble assistant! I just went to Joy of Home and clicked on the link to making your own tassels. I think this needs to be our next project. I am thinking these would be great Christmas presents for my family.
