I am here...

I am here...The Montage in Laguna Beach. My husband is in meetings all day (poor guy!) and I am about to go on a beach walk on this amazing beach right outside our room.

I'm not going to lie...I am feeling very spoiled here. When I want to go downtown, they send driver in a Mercedes to take me there. When I am ready to come back...he picks me back up.

At night, slippers are placed where my feet hit the floor, ready for when I get out of bed in the morning.

I haven't had to think about what to cook...the food is beyond amazing and my bed gets made every day.

I will enjoy being "spoiled" for a few more days and love having time with just Todd and I to reconnect and just be a couple.

I'm sooo excited! In less than two hours, I will be on my way to NYC to meet up with my momma and sister! We are going for a girl's weekend to celebrate my sister's 35th birthday...and she has NEVER been to the city! I imagine it would be like taking a child to Disney for the first time...but on steriods!!

On the itinerary is the broadway play, Mamma Mia...going to the Nate Bertkus show...shopping...eating...strolling in Central Park...being a crazy fan on the Today Show...and lots more!

Our babysitter, Esther stayed at our house while we were gone on vacation for 10 days.  She watched the dog, the cat, took care of the pool and all the hiccups that came along with that!  She was absolutley great and to top it off, this is the sight we came home to...ahhhh...We literally drove 10 hours in the car home and got to sit right down to have dinner!  What a blessing she is and continues to be for our family!

Happy Mothers Day/Happy Birthday!

This year we decided to combine holidays and instead of buying gifts we went to the JW Marriot for 2 days/1 night and then went to Disney for Todd's birthday...isn't it nice of Walt to give us free admission on our special day!  We had a fantastic time at the hotel!  We swam the entire time and what an amazing pool and lazy river we enjoyed!  I really didn't feel like I was only 30 minutes away from home...so very relaxing.  I will say it was stinkin hot...like 96 degrees hot!  We loaded up the sunscreen and still got a bit burned.  

Some dear friends sent us a special dessert cart for Todd's birthday and we were totally surprised when we came up for the night.  The kids were too much...drinking the milk from the bottle, trying all the different desserts...how fun!
